Case study 4 – Benchmarking


Deliverables:        Survey of public sector chief financial officers, development of process benchmarks for financial accounting performance, development of meaningful key performance indicators and targets.

Hague designed and ran a benchmarking project to help drive a business process improvement project in a government department.  The process included a mail out survey, face to face interviews, site visits and focus groups.  The benchmarking process was  a key contributor to a turnaround form an invoice processing backlog of 3 months to 3 days over the course of the wider project.
